Biden is expected to lift the visa ban on Muslim countries and return the US to the Paris Climate Agreement, following its inauguration ceremony on January 20.
It has been reported that USA’s Elected President Joe Biden will sign decrees to reject certain decisions of Donald Trump, such as “visa ban for Muslim countries” and “withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement”, right after taking office.
The information note sent to the presidential team by Ron Klain, the future Private Secretary of Biden, who will officially take the chair by taking an oath on January 20, was reflected in the American media.
According to the note, Biden will sign presidential decrees as soon as he takes the presidency, reversing some of the controversial decisions taken during the Trump era.
Biden will abolish the “visa ban for some Muslim-majority countries”, announce the return of the United States to the Paris Climate Agreement, end the practice of the dispersal of immigrant families on the Mexican border, and make it mandatory to wear masks in relevant places and places.
Klain also stated that in the first 10 days, Biden will sign many similar presidential decrees and that some practices in the Trump era will be terminated immediately.
On the other hand, Klain noted that in the USA, which is also struggling with the new type of corona virus (Covid-19) pandemic and its economic reflections, one of the first goals of the Biden administration is to pass the 1.9 trillion dollar economic support package to the Congress and to approve.
